I just wanna share my experience using CIMB Niaga's mPINs. I dislike
how CIMB Niaga using mPINs because the pins sent through my registered
mobile phone, sometimes never arrives or it comes late, as I was
experiencing this morning. I requested mPINs because I need to pay a
bill. After waiting, I haven't got the PIN requested. FYI, the PIN's
request is not free as every
request will deduct the credit you have in your mobile phone
subscription. It is just annoying. CIMB should change it to the better
system. It may follow Panin Bank, Commonwealth which use a kind of
token which is free. Or it may follow Danamon using SMS notification
with free charge and no need to make a request. When I do internet
banking, Danamon will prompt me with a one time password that will be
sent through my mobile phone I have registered.
