ARE you a closet dictator? Or are you a secret Saint?
How you vote isn’t always how you really think. Our unique What's Your Politics election interactive can show you who you really are.
Maybe your family has always voted Labor or Liberal, so you think you should too. Or maybe you just don’t like the look of one of the leaders this time around.
Or maybe you used to be loyal to one party, but as you’re getting older you’re finding your beliefs are changing. Are the parties changing with you?
Throughout the 2010 election campaign we’ll be looking more closely at the policies of each party and how they’ll affect you. But first, we want to help you work out who you really are.
To do it, the What's Your Politics interactive has 15 questions based on real-life scenarios at Work, at Home and the Pub. Choose from four options that give the best match for how you’d react in each scenario.
At the end, you’ll see how your answers match your instincts to some famous figures. Maybe you’re just like Mother Teresa. Or Bono. Or maybe you're George W. Bush, or Michael Moore.
You’ll also see how closely you match the party leaders - Julia Gillard, Tony Abbott and Bob Brown. And you just might be shocked by your result.
Of course, we can’t tell you how you must vote. But neither can Ms Gillard or Mr Abbott. It's all up to you.
It took the world’s greatest political thinkers thousands of years to get this far. You can do it in five minutes.
And when you're done, you can share your results with your friends and check out this explanation of how the What's Your Politics interactive works.
Over to you.
