When will this policy happen in Indonesia? It might never happen (sigh)
Something really exciting and significant happened this week – the Parliament passed the Government's Paid Parental Leave scheme.From 1 January next year parents will receive paid parental leave – our first national scheme, and a new entitlement for working parents.The scheme means that new parents will be able to access 18 weeks of government-funded parental leave pay at the National Minimum Wage ($570 per week).It will apply for all eligible parents of children born or adopted on or after 1 January 2011.
