The Apatani women in Ziro Valley — The IWI: International Women's Initiative

https://www.theiwi.org/thelead/2019/6/10/women-in-ziro-valley

I just remembered 2 years ago while I was in Munnar, India, a guy approached me while waiting for a bus to Kochi. He helped me to give the direction of how to go to Kochi. Even paid for Ola ( Indian Uber) fares.

He insisted me to stay in his parent house in Kochi. But,I refused politely.

Anyway, while on that long trip from Munnar to Kochi, he chatted a lot with me. Then, he assumed I was from northern India.  Yeah from the place in this article. I was confused. Wow, he thought I was an Indian from the north part which has different culture with the majority Indian. In fact, I am from other country. He got shocked that I am from other countries, thousand miles from India.
But, now I understand why he had the thought.
